Questions people ask
Is the Wasoolo customer app free?
Yes — free for your customers, always. Only the shopkeeper ever pays for Wasoolo, and even that starts free. See the plans.
How does my customer get a login?
You create it from inside Wasoolo: open the customer, tap Create login, and send them the username and password. A customer can never sign up on their own, so nobody can attach themselves to your shop.
Can my customer see how much udhaar is left?
Yes. They see the same remaining balance you see, entry by entry, live. Both sides read one khata, so there is nothing to argue about.
Do customers get installment (qist) reminders?
Yes. An installment plan shows the next qist and its date, and the reminder arrives on their phone by itself. You do not have to call anybody.
Can a customer pay inside the app?
No, and that is on purpose. Payments happen the way they already happen — cash, Easypaisa, JazzCash, bank transfer. Your customer attaches the screenshot as proof, you confirm it, and the khata updates. Wasoolo records money; it never moves it.
Can a customer see my other customers or my prices?
Never. A customer login opens exactly one khata — their own, in your shop. Your customer list, your buying rates and every other khata stay yours.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Both. It is the same Wasoolo app from Google Play and the App Store; a customer login simply opens it in customer mode.
Can a customer open Wasoolo on a computer?
No. The web, Windows and Mac apps are for shopkeepers and their staff. Customers use the phone app.
What if a customer loses the password?
Open the customer in Wasoolo and make a new login. The old one stops working the moment you do.
Does it work without internet?
The shopkeeper app works fully offline and syncs when the signal comes back. The customer app needs internet to fetch the latest khata, because it is reading your shop's live numbers.
