Is Wasoolo free?

Yes. The Free plan covers everyday khata and udhaar work for shopkeepers, and the customer app is completely free. Pro Lite and Pro plans add more capacity, the computer app and extras — see current pricing inside the app.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Wasoolo is offline-first: add customers, entries and payments with no internet, and everything syncs automatically to the cloud and your other devices the moment you’re back online.

Is there an iPhone app?

Yes — Wasoolo is live on the App Store. Download it for iPhone. Android, web, Mac and Windows are live too, and everything stays in sync on one account.

Can I use Wasoolo on my computer?

Yes — open the web app in any browser, or install the desktop app on Mac or Windows. Sign in with the same account, or scan a QR code from your phone — no password needed. The computer app is included with Pro Lite and Pro.

Do my customers need the app?

No — your khata works fine without it. But the free customer app is a big plus: your customer sees their own ledger live, gets reminders, chats with your shop and can send payment proof. Fewer arguments, faster wasooli.

Does Wasoolo charge interest or late fees?

Never. There is no interest and there are no late fees, ever. A qist plan may include a one-time markup that you set yourself at the start, but nothing grows over time — a late installment is only a status badge, never a charge. Wasoolo is a record-keeping tool: it is not a bank, doesn’t give loans and doesn’t move money.

Can my employees use it?

Yes. Each employee gets their own login with fine-grained permissions — what they can see, add, edit or delete. Sensitive actions can require your approval first, and History (Roznamcha) records who did what, when. You can deactivate a login instantly.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and protected by row-level security on the server, so each account only sees its own records. You also get a PIN app lock, optional two-factor authentication, Google & Apple sign-in, and backups you can download yourself.

Which languages does it support?

English, Roman Urdu and Hinglish. Switch between them any time with one toggle inside the app — every screen, every language.

Can I import my old khata register?

Yes. Import customers and khatas from Excel or CSV in one go — most shops move their whole register in under an hour. And you can export everything back to Excel or PDF whenever you want; your data is never locked in.
